Market Your Holiday Promotions

The holiday season is not only about putting up a tree and some garland. It is all about getting to the “top of the list” position of your customers and giving them great gift giving options. You need to have your gift certificates, gift cards, envelopes, and wrapping materials all at the ready. You will also need to plan for in-salon displays and promotional pieces, as well as placing your promotions on your website, Facebook page and your blog. Then inform your customers via your monthly newsletter, e-mail marketing, mail-in pieces, text messaging campaign, weekly Facebook promo, daily twitter, etc. Develop a comprehensive media strategy and get the word out. Don’t count on impulse purchases as the foundation for your Holiday planning; instead make sure that shopping at your salon and spa is at the top of your client’s Christmas to-do list.
